So, perhaps calling it a sewing lesson was a little excessive, but it was a real hit.
We took a large plastic needle and a long piece of yarn. After pouring a bowl full of fruit loops, we picked out what color would go first. Each of us made a necklace. By tying a fruit loop to the end of the yarn, the rest of the cereal stayed on the string. Samantha’s was a random array of color, while mine was a pattern.
Once the necklace was the length we wanted, we tied them around our necks. Now they were beautiful, anyone would agree with that, but that didn’t keep us from eating our creations. Just like candy necklaces, the fruit loops were convenient to nibble on.
