While in Minnesota my dear friend Kathy did a teaching on the
Armor of God. Her talk was to the moms in attendance, reminding us of our need to be in the Word, which is the core of all the armor. Wish we would have recorded it so I could share it with you all.
When Kathy and I had smaller children we wanted to teach them
about the armor of God. We came across a wonderful resource. The resource is a poster that shows a soldier and describes all of the armor. On the back of the poster are four reproducible worksheets.
One is a craft, making an Armor Al. All of our children loved this. There was even an Armor Al found in each of our homes after ten years. (the poster says to use a coffee can and two liter bottle. we used soup cans and single serving soda bottles)
Another worksheet is a miniature of the poster with a place to cut out the face and put in a picture of your child. This too was a hit.
