That is what hit me this past Sunday at church. As we sang it and I saw it on the screen, it jumped out at me.
Be satisfied.
When I think of satisfied I think of that full, but not uncomfortable, feeling I get after a good meal. Just like a good meal comes after much planning and preparation, the only way to be truly satisfied is after putting in some effort, time or sacrifice.
Too often though, I get caught up in wanting more of the Lord, more understanding or self evaluating and wanting to purge anything that hinders me. There is more available.
Be satisfied.
What an awesome invitation. What a wonderful promise.
