goal. None the less, God has given me the desire to encourage ladies to be ladies and modesty is part of that. One of the most common come backs I get when I share on this topic is: “That’s their problem; guys shouldn’t be thinking those things.”
Really?!
Let’s take a different look at this:
What if God told all females that they could not have chocolate
until they were married and He gave all the chocolate to males to hold for the females until they were married?
Now some gentlemen carry this precious gift in a back pack. As
they go through life, the chocolate is barely noticed by the ladies in their lives. The women know it is there, yet, they also know it is well protected.
Other guys carry the chocolate they have been given in a beautiful red satin heart shaped box under their arm. It is still covered; yet, every gal that sees the package is reminded of what she is missing. Chocolate invades her thoughts.
Still most fellas prefer to show the chocolate they have been entrusted with by holding it in their hand with just its little ruffled paper to cover it. As they walk around waving their chocolate around at nose level, they wonder why all the girls are acting so crazy and won’t leave them alone.
Whose problem is it now? Is it the girls issue if she craves chocolate when it is being held right where she can see and smell it day after day? Or are the guys right to say, “That’s their problem; they shouldn’t be thinking those things”?
