The weather this weekend was BEAUTIFUL. We spent last evening out of doors. While the adults sat on the deck catching up, the children played hide and go seek.
How does a fifteen, thirteen, and eleven year old play with two eight year olds and a five year old? They pair up, of course. Yes, they played hide and seek in pairs. One older child paired with a younger child.
Part of our preparation for company is praying for them and for us to be a blessing to them. Still, I was floored when I saw the children come up with this great way to play together. It wasn’t miserable endurance for anyone, there were lots of giggles and excited talking throughout the night.
I am not trying to brag, only show what a heart for others can look like. Having the focus of pursuing the preciousness of others, allows children of all ages to enjoy one another.
