Bible time has changed for us over the years, here I would like to give a sample week from when our children were around, 3,5,7 and 9.
Monday:
· Read Bible aloud—discuss or act out
· Play Mommy says—like Simon Says with a “yes, Mommy” response
· Practice self-control—as described in that chapter
· Go through Polite Moments #2—recommended in parenting book list
Tuesday:
· Sing action songs
· Read Bible aloud
· Polite Moments #1
· Role play—whatever scenarios needing working
· Play Love is –Like Duck, Duck, Goose but with Love definitions
Wednesday:
· Sing action songs
· Read Bible aloud
· Listen practice—I tell them to do one thing, while I do another.
· Character definitions—name trait and children give definition, while discussing ones we need to work on
· Play stop and go—both with words and sign language; the children move around and stop when told and stay frozen until told to go.
Thursday:
· Sing actions songs
· Read Bible aloud
· Polite Moments #4
· Role Play
· Go over how to recognize a fool—in wisdom chapter
Friday:

· Practice coming—send child to other place in house, call them, they answer “coming” and come to where I am.
· Polite Moments #5
· Ten commandments—and discuss how applies to us
This was repeated each week for one year, always with the option for mom to add or change any way she felted was needed.
