These are verses that do not specifically address (name) a parent or a child, but have parenting principles in them. A lot of these verses point out the two options we have: wisdom vs. foolishness. I have been reading these three lists for the past few days; they are fire to my soul. This is parenting wisdom, right from the hand of God.

4:25-27 Let your eyes look straight ahead, fix your gaze directly before you. Make level paths for your feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil.
5:11-13 At the end of your life you will groan, when your flesh and body are spend. You will say, “ how I hated discipline! How my heart spurned correction! I would not obey my teachers or listen to my instructors.
5:23 He will die for lack of discipline, led astray by his own great folly.
6:23 For these commands are a lamp, this teaching is a light, and the corrections of discipline are the way to life
10:17 He who heeds discipline shows the way to life, but whoever ignores correction leads others astray.
12:1 Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge but he who hates correction is stupid.
12:18 Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
13:13He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded.

Ecclesiastes
8:11 when the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, the hearts of the people are filled with schemes to do wrong.
Revelation
3:19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So, be earnest and repent.
