sound old, to others it will be young. So much of life is that way, it has different perspectives. To some we are conservative, to others liberal. To some we are ignorant, to others wise. Some say I make strong coffee, others say it is weak. Some think my house is clean, others see the dirt. I’ve been told I work too hard and told I need to do more. What do I do with all this input?
I smile; because I don’t have to be wavered by other’s opinions
of me. I live before God and my husband. If these two are pleased, then nothing and no one else matters.
I can still make stronger coffee when my father-in-law comes,
because I know he likes it that way. But, I do not have to derive my identity from seeking his approval.
See the freedom?! We know the saying…”you can’t please all the
people all the time”. It is so much easier to answer to Todd and to God than to try to please the masses. And God has put Todd in authority over me, so honoring him is honoring to God. Wow!
