Above mom responds to friend with a decisive, “No, I prefer the distraction method, it works.”
Yes. I agree, the distraction method works, but not the way this naïve mom thinks.
This child has not been trained in the way he should go or to honor his mother; rather, he has trained his mother to please him whenever he fights her and to bribe him whenever he fusses.
